Precautions during aluminum extrusion process
1、 Special attention should be paid to the following points in the customized trial molding and aluminum extrusion process of aluminum materials:
1. Confirmation of the temperature of the mold temperature rod before extrusion of aluminum alloy profiles, whether it can meet the requirements of extrusion temperature, and whether there is core penetration during heating (the placement of the mold in the heating furnace is important, and there should be a certain heating distance between the mold and the mold).
2. Customized aluminum extrusion molds must be aligned with the center position to avoid collapse and mold blockage.
3. Suitable extrusion speed should be selected for different aluminum alloy profile molds to prevent slow discharge caused by excessive speed and urgency.
During the extrusion process of aluminum alloy profiles, we also need to pay attention to the quality of the aluminum bars to avoid mold damage caused by impurities in the aluminum bars, and so on.
2、 The repair of aluminum extrusion molds is a crucial step, but the first thing to understand when repairing a mold is its strength. It is necessary to repair the mold while ensuring the original strength of the aluminum extrusion mold. Welding is generally not used until the end, as welding has a significant impact on the lifespan of the mold. Especially the welding of work belts can easily shorten their lifespan. For the repair of profile speed, it is usually used to repair the slow areas quickly instead of using to slow down the fast areas. Therefore, reducing the burden on mold construction can to some extent ensure its lifespan. Of course, improving the level of mold repair and reducing the number of trial molds is also one of the methods to improve the service life of molds.
3、 During the mold making process, special attention should be paid to the process of taking and punching materials, especially in some screw holes or fragile areas, otherwise it is easy to break the mold. 4、 The loading and unloading process of aluminum extrusion molds should be carried out with caution to prevent bumping into the working belt and other areas. Before the mold is stored, it must be cleaned thoroughly, carefully and thoroughly inspected for any small cracks or damages. 5、 Effective management of process data is necessary for finished molds, such as repair plans, processing details, and extrusion processes. Because these can all become the replication objects for subsequent supplementary molds or similar molds, in order to effectively improve the on-machine compliance rate of aluminum mold customization.
